The EG-CID project brings together a international team of researchers from the University of Alexandria and the Freie Universität of Berlin. It is initial build form two experienced researchers with an academic focus in economics and Euro-Mediterranean issues.

The center aims at establishing a scientific network between the staff and students of Free University Berlin and Alexandria University and signing an inter-university partnership.
